Angus Kemp
Director
Having founded the practice in 2002 Angus continues to service his own clients and specialises in audit and assurance services, liquidations and general business advice. He came to Guernsey in 1985, having qualified in Glasgow, and has spent time with Coopers & Lybrand and BDO as well as a spell with ICI. A bit of an academic, he continues to lecture on Accountancy and Company Law and is retained as a consultant by the GTA University Centre. A keen sportsman, Angus can still be found playing tennis and has represented both Guernsey and the Channel Islands many times including at two island games. He is also looking forward to reading the books he has been collecting for the last 30 years but never had time to read
Charles Wharrie
Charlie moved to Guernsey in 2004 and went onto to qualify in Guernsey with a large accountancy firm. He moved to the practice in April 2010 following in the footsteps of his father who took a similar path into general practice. He works predominately with our audit clients but also completes assurance engagements, accounts preparation and tax work. When not working Charlie spends most of his time enjoying his new family and fighting back the growing list of things to fix in his house and garden.
Kristyna Lenfestey
Kristyna joined the company in 2023 after studying Biological sciences at Brighton University. She is currently training under Jodie with Kemp & Company to become an accountant. She is joining courses on bookkeeping and taxation to increase her knowledge of the financial systems in Guernsey, and preparing to start ACCA qualifications. In her free time Kristyna is either crocheting jumpers and blankets for friends and family or relaxing with a jigsaw.
Sandra Le Cheminant
Sandra joined the team when Kemp & Company took over the book of business from Le Lacheur Picot Chartered Accountants in April 2011. Having initially started as a receptionist / telephonist / bookkeeper she has now been re-titled as Office Manager as her list of jobs and responsibilities has become ever longer. With 14 years prior experience in the hotel and estate agency trade she very much enjoys meeting and talking to people and is the welcoming face of the office.
Ryan Woodhouse
Ryan joined Kemp & Company in 2016 as a bookkeeper, but has branched out into personal and company tax and manages our busy client list preparing individual and company tax returns and computations. Like others at Kemp & Company he has a big interest in dogs and owns two beagles who often visit our office.
Jodie Trebert
Jodie joined Kemp & Company in July 2017. Shortly after joining she began studying towards her professional qualifications, obtaining CAT in October 2020 and ACCA in July 2022. Jodie works on incorporated businesses and some sole traders producing their end of year accounts and tax computations. She also prepares corporation tax returns for UK properties and occasionally assists with Guernsey personal tax. Like many others at K&C Jodie is an animal enthusiast. Her main interest being her beautiful dogs, a Bolognese and 3 Spanish Water Dogs. Like the name suggests, you will often find her walking her dogs at the beach. With many years of dog shows behind her, she has competed at shows across the Channel Islands and the UK – including Crufts.
