Local chartered accountancy firm, Kemp Le Tissier Limited, has just celebrated its 10th anniversary. The company was started in 2002 by local directors Angus Kemp and Chantelle Le Tissier and now has 12 staff. It experienced growth of 50% in 2011, partly as a result of the acquisition of another accountancy practice in Guernsey, and is looking to expand again this year.
Asked about the secret of the firm’s success, Angus said “we have always believed that using experienced people on assignments and charging a reasonable rate for excellent service is the best way forward. We also charge fixed fees wherever possible so that there are no surprises. In addition the directors have over 45 years of experience in dealing with clients in both Guernsey and the UK.”
The company has a wide client base, dealing with sole traders through to large companies on the island. They provide the usual services expected of a general accountancy practice, that is audit, accounts preparation, taxation, payroll, bookkeeping and liquidation services.
